Eurasian Moorhen

Common Moorhen / Sutavuğu, Karasu, Sakarya, 2021 ********************************************************************* You may see this waterfowl feeding themselves with water plants and insects in marshes or on lakes, ponds, rivers or canals especially on the ones with reeds in Europe, Asia and Africa. They are very common everywhere. The ones in this photo were going out of the water and feeding themselves with Eurasian coots and domestic geese and ducks in front of a fish restaurant by the lake in Karasu.
